The 2025 conference:

Grow, Flourish, and Thrive in 2025

Topics scheduled:

Dr. Karen Schuder - Decrease Anxiety and Promote Healthy Boundaries

Anxiety is like a livewire shocking everyone in its path. We will look at strategies to decrease anxiety and promote healthy boundaries to foster life balance and counter burnout. We can let go of the livewire by getting grounded in what is important, especially purpose.  We will also consider how to decrease team anxiety and increase effectiveness, because helping others is never a solo effort. The workshop includes fun activities, discussion, learning, and introspective time.

Susan Williams - Compassion Fatigue and Employee Burnout

Understanding the challenges and stressors we face can feel overwhelming. The care and energy we give to others can play a role in feeling fatigues and burnout. Learn what compassion fatigue and burnout is and how it affects you. Discuss how to manage stressors. Tips and tools for practicing self-care.

Susan Williams - Work Life Blend and Making Positivity a Habit

The concept of work-life balance is being replaced with a more flexible and attractive approach to self-care known as work-life blend. Compare the idea of work-life blend and work-life balance. Examine the challenges and the benefits of work-life blend on the employee and the organization. Outline ways to encourage this blend.

A positive attitude is contagious and can elevate the success of an individual and a team. Learn what influences our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes. Consider how to develop a positive mental attitude to decrease stress and improve our outlook. Outline some ways that we can embody positivity to influence the success of an organization.

Sara Croymans and Nikki Crowe - COMET

(Changing Our Mental and Emotional Trajectory)

This is an interactive training that teaches participants how to reach out in a meaningful, respectful, and supportive way to friends, co-workers or acquaintances who seem to be struggling somewhere between wellness and a mental health crisis.
